征稿 | 首届跨越太平洋——中国西部&美国西部风光摄影作品展 (The first Trans-Pacific – Western China & Western United States Landscape Photography Exhibition)

Blue sky and white clouds,
Bright sun and shining stars,
The vast universe and the sparsely populated land…

Different landscapes bring intense enjoyment, both in western China and in the western United States.

The scenery in western China is diverse. The northwestern region is vast.  In the southwest region the mountains and rivers are woven together. The Qinghai-Tibet Plateau is extremely cold and high. There are landscapes of stark  desolation, as well as landscapes with of delicate beauty. The rushing river and the steep snow peaks show the spectacular nature in western China.

Western United States is magnificent as well. From the Pacific Rim of California, Oregon, and Washington, to desert regions of Nevada and Arizona; then to the Rocky Mountains of Utah, Colorado, Wyoming, and Montana, all the landscapes are wild and beautiful. Unadorned majesty and wildness… the lakes of the sacred landscape; the spectacular   forests and snowy mountains; the pastoral grasslands; the breathtaking Grand Canyon; the desert; the fountain volcano make the western United States unique in appearance from other regions.
